Ok, Analyze That

I had the following dream the other night and was suddenly awakened by a loud noise. My instant state of alertness caused me to remember vividly the following…

I was at an auto parts store waiting in line when I recognized the fellow in front of me as a former employee of my uncle’s store. I noticed that he was paying for his purchase with a credit card that was issued by my uncle’s business and was not supposed to be in his possession.

Suddenly, now it is three a.m. and I am inside my uncle’s store.   I am going to tell him about the unscrupulous former employee, but as I enter his office he is sitting up at his desk totally asleep!  After all it is three a.m. and they have been closed since eight p.m.

I am about to wake him when my cousin who also works there says…

“Psst, don’t wake him.”

“Why not?”

“Because he can’t know you’re here.”

“I’m here to help him, and how come you’re hiding out there in the hall?”

“I can’t let him see me either.”

“Really?  Why not?”   I never got an answer.

Now it’s after three a.m and I am driving down the expressway.   It’s dark and now my girl is with me.  Suddenly all my car lights, dashboard and outside, all shut off, but the car keeps running.

“Oh,oh.  That can’t be good,” my girl says.

“I know.  The only other cars on the road are police cars.” I wasn’t exaggerating every minute another police car drove past us, but none cared that we were driving without any lights.  My girl suddenly spies bright lights ahead and alongside the highway.  “What’s that”?

“That’s the county fair.”

“Well let’s go there ’cause that’s where the cheating x employee is.  We should take his cotton candy!”

After a minute, I looked over and she was eating cotton candy and we were still on the expressway. I was about to ask her how she got it, then I awoke. 

So, for all you folks who analyze dreams, feel free to write me and tell me what that means. Frankly I think it means I might be crazy!
